Place I buy seeds and gardening supplies from
Pinetree Garden Seeds - I love that I can buy such small quantities. Different seed varieties are my crack so anyplace I can get lots of different kinds for less money is great in my book.
Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds - a great selection of heirloom seeds.
Tomato Grower Supply - this is a fantastic site for tomato, pepper and eggplant seeds.
Territorial Garden Seeds - they actually put out a separate fall gardening catalog with varieties that do well during the fall and over the winter.
Johnny's - I don't like the strong focus on hybrids but they do have a wonderful collection of garden tools.
Lee Valley Garden Supply - awesome selection of high quality tools. I've placed several orders and I've never been disappointed.
Lehman's - I've only ordered canning supplies but they have a great reputation and some amazing looking things. I love the hand powered appliances.
Sand Hill Preservation Center - a wonderful place to order from. They've got all kinds of heirloom tomato seeds and other heirloom vegetables. They also have an extensive selection of sweet potato slips as well. I've ordered them and enjoyed some of the best sweet potatoes I've ever eaten - just make sure to order early. One day when we can have chickens, I plan to order from them as well. This is a small business and I really appreciate the care and commitment these people have put into preserving heirloom seeds and poultry breeds.
The Garlic Store - this place made me plant 18 different kinds of garlic last year. Homegrown garlic is so amazing and I love that you can get variety packs so you can grow lots of different kinds.
Places I haven't ordered from yet but plan to:
Nichols Garden Seeds
Kitchen Garden Seeds
Brent and Becky's Bulbs
Bluestone Perennials
