    Made this Friday night - it was fantastic! Thanks for posting it.

    I had always heard that you can freeze caramelized onions but have never really trusted that you can. Good to know that it is for real!

    Dana - I always make huge batches of caramelized onions to freeze for later, especially since most of the time I use them for French onion soup. There's a little loss of texture but not enough to make much of a difference for me. Plus it's so convenient.

    These looks fabulous! All of my favorite ingredients!
